While design jobs can be really competitive as well as demanding it is a great career option for anyone who is extremely passionate about visual aesthetics and art.

The following career options can be opted for after pursuing the respected course of your choice:

  1. Product Designer: The duty of a product designer is to design and develop consumer products by improving the existing product designs and analyzing certain working concepts that are launched by competitors of very similar products so as to match the quality and performance of their existing product. Some other responsibilities include: modifying and reversing designs to meet consumer experiences, maintaining an update on the current trends and market conditions and Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts.
  2. Toys and Games Graphic Designer: They are also known as industrial or commercial designers. They are basically designers who come up with concepts for various toys and games. These designers develop and design manufactured products, such as cars, children’s toys, and home appliances They design products keeping in mind the usability, safety, production costs, function, aesthetics and clients directions creating the most functional and appealing product design.
  3. Glass Designer: As the name suggests, a glass designer basically designs, produces, decorates and finishes pieces of glass for a number of purposes such as: exhibition pieces, mirrors, giftware, stained glass windows, tableware and architectural glass. They not only require the artistic designs of a craftsperson but also manual skills, strong professional reputation and a portfolio of successful pieces.
  4. Animation Design: An animation designer works with clients to create 2-D and 3-D images. These images can be texts, characters, logos, or objects. These images basically need to move on the screen. These designers can e4ither freelance or work for companies in offices. They require a balance of computer software and creativity skills to create animating graphics. Other duties of an animation designer include: creating storyboards, writing scripts, creating websites, and editing videos.
  5. Automobile Designers: These are also industrial designers, designing different automobiles and automotive components. As an automobile designer one will be required to draft layouts of automobile components, assemblies and systems using sketches, models and prototypes. Also, determine factors that may be affecting the design proposals by using previous car models, understanding certain manufacturing limitations and lastly, collaborating with automotive engineers.
  6. Film and Video Designers: Film and Video editors are generally responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into suitable, finished products that would be ready for broadcasting. The raw materials may include things like sound effects, graphics, camera footage, dialogue, and special effects. Some other responsibilities include: working with creative teammates, collaborating with market teams and managing overall technical aspects of video recording as well as editing.
